Dear 5th Grade Parents:

June is just around the corner and we wanted to update you on a number of great activities we are planning to celebrate our children's 5th grade graduation from West School. Please make a note of the dates and activities. If you would like to volunteer to help on any of these activities, please email the person responsible for each event by May 15th.

5TH GRADE GRADUATION ACTIVITIES:

ADULT ONLY Cocktail Graduation Party Saturday, June 9^th 6:30-8:30 pm at the Petrushka Home. You will receive a separate Evite for this event and you will need to RSVP. Please be on the lookout for it. If you would like to help with setup or breakdown please contact naomi@commercebid.com.

5th GRADE FIELD DAY Thursday, June 14^th from 11:00 am-3:00pm
West School Fields

Children should bring towels, swimsuits or board shorts. There will be lots of fun "water" activities including the dunk tank! Children should bring their own bag lunches (or get their hot lunch). We will provide drinks and dessert!

5th GRADE GRADUATION CEREMONY Friday, June 15th at 8:30 a.m.
West School MPR
Graduation Ceremony will start at 8:30 a.m.
The ceremony will end by 10:00 a.m. Light Continental Breakfast for both parents and graduating children immediately following.

School Dismissal is 10:30 am

All family members are welcome. Kid’s dress is casual smart (tie & jacket optional). Make sure to bring your cameras!!

5th GRADE POOL PARTY Friday, June 15 at 11:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
Yan Home. If you would like to help with setup or breakdown and chaperoning, please contact Dr. Pearl Wu pearlgwumd@aol.com or respond via the Pool Party permission slip attached.

Children should bring towels, swimsuits and sun lotion. All students must have a signed permission slip to attend the Pool Party, CLICK HERE for the permission slip. Please don't forget to fill it out and bring it to the school office by June 2. No child will be admitted without it. NO SIBLINGS PLEASE. Lunch will be provided.


GRADUATION DATES TO REMEMBER:

June 2nd - Please make sure to turn in your Pool Party Permission form to the office
June 9th - Adult ONLY Graduation Cocktail Party at 6:30 pm- 8:30 pm. At Petrushka Home- RSVP to the upcoming evite.
June 14th - 5th Grade Field Day from 11:00 am to 3:00 p.m. at West School
June 15th - 5th Grade Graduation Ceremony from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at the West School
June 15th - 5th Grade Pool Party from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at the Yan Home
